Kaguya Sama Love is War Season 3 is extremely hyped right now. With the release of Season 2, the Kaguya Sama fandom has had an exponential growth. They are all waiting for more of these fantastic series.
2019 introduced Kaguya Sama to us. The anime was somewhat masked in the glory of Quintessential Quintuplets, 3D Kanojo, and Domestic Girlfriend. However, 2020 has blown up the series. Kaguya is now one of the most popular rom-com anime ever. Some people did prefer back when it was a hidden gem.
With the second year of Student Council going well, Kaguya Sama Love is War Season 3 will focus on another great year. Our leads Miyuki and Kaguya will grow more intimate. Their war is slowly reaching the climax. Very soon, the end result will arrive.
Hayasaka and Ishigami have received amazing characterization and fans can’t wait to see more of these 2. If fact, some fans prefer the side characters to the main two. And it is justified, since Ishigami is a really well written person. Maybe Season 3 will bring more amazing characters into the fold.
2020 has been a great year for all the anime fans and season 2 of Kaguya Sama made it even better. We even got to see some manhwa getting animated and we expect Solo Leveling anime release date to be announced soon as well.
Kaguya Sama Love is War Premise:
Kaguya Sama: Love is War is a seinen manga series written and illustrated by Aka Akasaka. It is currently serialized under Shueisha, in their Miracle Jump, followed by Weekly Young Jump. It also has a couple of spin-offs manga dedicated to hardcore fans. Currently, it is serialized by Viz Media.
The plot revolves mainly around two highly intellectual individuals – Shirogane Miyuki and Kaguya Shinomiya. They’re attracted to each other. The twist is that both of them are tsundere and want the other one to confess. And this leads to their psychological warfare – a very cute battle to make the other one confess.
Season 2 showed us the ending of the 68th Student Council. It was a very melancholic goodbye followed by an amazing rejuvenation. The President Selection arc was absolutely amazing, giving leeway to introduce new characters. It also managed to bring Kaguya and Miyuki closer!
Season 2 ended with the 69th student council in full bloom. It also freed Ishigami – the poor boy had been chained down for a long time and finally, Miyuki saved him. Ishigami ended the season becoming the fan favorite. We also saw Kaguya entering the Line Chat and regaining a lot of old pictures of the club.
We’re all set for Kaguya Sama Love is War Season 3. The manga has enough material for about 3 or 4 more seasons. This means, we won’t have to fuss over the story. The progression and script , it is all written out. There is no PV for the third season yet but in the ending scene of Season 2 there’s a little hint.
Kaguya Sama Love is War Season 3 Release Date:
As of now, there is no news on Season 3. The second season ended few weeks ago. It’ll be months until we get an announcement and months more until we get the season made. However, given the success of the series, we won’t have to wait long. Season 2 has been very profitable for A-1 pictures.
A-1 Pictures Studio has been responsible for both Season 1 and Season 2. We expect nothing but the same Studio to adapt Season 3. Their animation has been praised and the manga fans were very fond of the overall feel of the anime.
Both seasons had Aniplex, Shueisha, Magic Capsule, EJMS, and Mainichi BS as their producers. We are sure that both Aniplex and Shueisha will be there to produce Season 3. As for the other producers, their return isn’t guaranteed. Aniplex of America will be the licensors as usual.
Kaguya Sama Love Is War Season 3 will most likely return in June 2021 for everyone to stream. and will most likely have 12 episodes just like Season 2.
Also, the trailer has not been released yet for the third season.
Cast For 3rd Season Of Kaguya Sama Love Is War:
The main cast has been very consistent in their performances and will probably return for season 3. Here’s the list:
- Makoto Furukawa will return as Shirogane Miyuki. He’s known for his main roles in One Punch Man and Golden Time.
- Aoi Koga will reprise her role as Kaguya Shinomiya. She has great performances in Fire Force and Zombieland Saga.
- Kohara Konomi will play Chika Fujiwara. She is known for Asobi Asobase and Tsuki ga Kirei.
- Ryouta Suzuki will play Ishigami Yu. He’s famous for his roles in Tsurune and Nande Koko ni Sensei Ga?
- Yumiri Hanamori will be back to play Hayasaka Ai. She has played great roles in Arifureta, Runway de Warette and Yuru Camp.
Anime series like Demon Slayer Season 2 and Castlevania Season 4 is supposed to return soon as well and it’s a great news for all the anime fans all over the world.
