Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is an inventive creation of Koyoharu Gotōge, which recently received a lot of appreciation from anime lovers worldwide!

Will there be a season 2 of Demon Slayer?
This is a question going on in everyone’s mind these days and there’s no doubt that a second season is in works for sure and will be announced to the public soon.
Kimetsu no Yaiba aka Demon Slayer became one of the most read manga series of 2019 and subsequently 2020 and the first season of Demon Slayer anime was so much loved by the fans that it was guaranteed that a second season of Demon Slayer will be released soon.
No official news or release date has been announced yet, we will keep you updated and if any official news regarding Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 is announced in the future, we will mention it in this article below.
What to expect in season 2 of Kimetsu no Yaiba anime?
Now coming to the length of the story covered in anime concerning manga (which consists of 21 volumes, 187 chapters) so far, we are craving for more episodes at episode 26 where, with his newfound strength, Tanjiro’s crow appeared with a new mission, everyone catches the train, the same train where there’s one of the pillar corps and a formidable upper moon demon!
In manga series, it roughly meets in chapter 54 (The first 2 chapters of volume 7). Thus, keeping this pattern in mind, we are hoping for a brilliant animation of further 54 chapters which will bring us to volume 13 (chapter 108) where we will see how Tanjiro, with his friends, will defeat these crazy strong demons along with uncovering ancient techniques much similar to his family’s dance of fire god!
Kimetsu no Yaiba Demon Slayer Season 2 Release Date
If only there was not a situation like this crazy “movie like” pandemic, I guess we could currently enjoy the second season.
But hopefully, Kimetsu no Yaiba Demon Slayer season 2 will be released by December 2020 and will be available to stream on Crunchyroll. Due to the ongoing pandemic, deadline might extend to Summer 2021. There is not even an official trailer for season 2, curse this pandemic!

On September 28, 2019, an anime film titled Demon Slayer: Mugen Train was announced, which will be released on October 16, 2020. The film will be a direct sequel to anime.
