New Teaser for Season 2 of Tower of God Confirms Bam’s Return
After the massive success that season 1 of Tower of God achieved, it was only a matter of time till season 2 was announced. I’m pretty sure that fans have collectively started hating Rachel after her betrayal in episode 13.
Season 2 will show Bam’s unexpected survival and how he can catch up to Rachel without her knowing about it. Along with introducing two new characters, the upcoming episodes will also give you updates on Bam’s circle and the bane of everyone’s existence, Rachel.
A new trailer for season 2 of Tower of God was streamed at Crunchyroll Expo this Saturday, confirming that it is currently under production. Crunchyroll will once again stream the anime.
The new promotional video shows various cuts from the previously released episodes of the anime. It shows Bam falling down the tower’s depth and Rachel, who seeks power.
Bam’s friends don’t know about how Bam fell down, so they will help Rachel climb the tower as it’s something ‘Bam would’ve wanted.’
Season 1 adapted the webtoon’s first part, consisting of 78 chapters. Thus, season 2 will undoubtedly adapt the “Prince of Zahard and “Workshop Battle” arcs. Both the parts together have enough material to cover another 12 or 13 episodes.
A new visual for Tower of God has also been revealed, and it shows Bam and another new character, Ja Wangnan:
Season 2 will pick up the story six years after season 1’s timeline. The brunette character is Jyu Viole Grace, alias Bam who joins another team to restart his journey to the top. The blonde is Ja Wangnan, an ambitious regular who wants to reach the top no matter what.
