As exciting as the reveal of the bounties was, we must also remember that this makes the new monster trio clear to us; or does it? The early spoilers have been released and fans are loving the plethora of revelations.
Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji, these three have been called the monster trio for such a long time. They were the strongest of the group and the toughest villains would be handled by them.
Be it Arlong Park, Alabasta, Skypiea, or Enies Lobby – the three toughest opponents would fall to these three. Hence the title of Monster Trio.
However, after Jinbe was invited, the dynamics began to shift a bit and the discussion amongst the fans became crazy heated! Jinbe’s huge bounty and obvious combat power made everyone think that he will now be a part of the trio. And then, there was also Yamato, who is quite the formidable fighter.
And thus, we had Luffy Jinbe Zoro, Luffy Jinbe Sanji, or even Luffy Jinbe Yamato being called the monster trio. People were even throwing around the term Monster Quartet, to include them all.
Plus, the Sanji Zoro fan wars became worse than ever since Zoro was surpassed by Sanji!
The New Monster Trio
And now, with the release of the new bounties, we have somewhat of a clear picture. Zoro with 1.101 billion bounties is merely 1 million higher than Jinbe’s 1.1 billion. Zoro and Sanji have a minor 69 million berry gap. With the bounties so close to each other, it is hard to exclude any of them from the monster trio.
Hence, we can say that according to bounty, Luffy, Zoro, and Jinbe are the new monster trio. That should be the official verdict. However, we all know that at this point, Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbe are the actual monster trio. As for Luffy, he is the Monster God whose power is much higher than the rest.
However, all this comparison leads to a different theory. People used to say that just like other Yonko, Luffy will have 3 commanders. So, Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbe fit perfectly. It was Youtuber Mr. Morj, who pointed out that this won’t be the case.
He insisted that Luffy will be similar to Roger, who had two commanders – Silvers Rayleigh and probably Kozuki Oden. Just like that, Zoro and Sanji will be Luffy’s commanders, his left and right hands.
They will surpass all the others, even Jinbe, because they have the potential to grow exponentially, just like Luffy does.
Cross Guild Trio
One Piece 1058 spoilers also reveal that Cross Guild is Crocodile’s new organization. Buggy’s image was just in the center, but he is not the leader. The marines made him a Yonko by mistake. As for Mihawk, he was invited by Crocodile to join the organization.
Of these three, Mihawk has the highest bounty of 3.59 billion. Next is Buggy with 3.189 billion. Note that both these bounties are higher than that of Luffy. We also see that Crocodile has increased his bounty to 1.965 billion.
Buggy apparently owes a huge debt to someone. Mihawk was previously known as a Marine hunter. The revolutionary army gets a call from Sabo. From the looks of it, this chapter is an absolute banger. Sadly, it will be followed by a break. One Piece 1059 releases on 11th September 2022.
