Enjoy Some Deception and Scheming With ‘I’m the Villainess’ This Fall
Just like isekai, shonen, shojo, etc., there’s a whole subgenre of anime and manga where the villainess takes over the story. By the title alone, you can judge that ‘I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss’ belongs to that category.
It begins with a villainess of a game who is fated to die but decides to turn her destiny over. Her best bet is to befriend the Demon Lord, the game’s final boss.
The series’ upcoming anime adaptation will show whether the villainess can keep a strict business relationship or fall for the gorgeous demon king.
The ‘I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss’ anime will be released in October 2022. The first promotional video for the anime is also out, and it contains shots from episode 1:
In the very first scene, Aileen gets rejected by the prince. As soon as this occurs, she suddenly remembers playing a game with the exact same plot. She swears never to get humiliated again.
Thus, Aileen plans to join hands with the Demon King, Claude, to avoid her fated death. Claude has an unexpectedly sweet temperament, and it looks like these two will definitely fall in love while scheming against the hero.

I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss is a novel series by Sarasa Nagase. It debuted in 2017, and Yen Press has licensed both its novel and manga adaptation.
Aileen’s engagement gets canceled by her fiance, the prince. However, she remembers her past life and knows that this Aileen is a villainess in a game. To avenge the humiliation she faced, she plans to join hands with the Demon King, Claude.
Together, Aileen and Caude will plot to not only find out the dark scheming in the game, but also to save Aileen from her fated death.
