Black Clover manga is going on a long break from the next issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. This time for this break is not fixed yet but it is expected that it will last at least three months. That means Black Clover Chapter 331 will be the last chapter before the popular manga goes on a long hiatus.
The decision was taken mutually by the author and creator Yuki Tabata and WSJ’s editorial team. Tabata will utilize this time for a break from work and plan the upcoming story of Black Clover. This was also announced that the upcoming arc will serve as the final arc for the manga and this arc is expected to last 150-200 chapters.

A note that has been released by the Weekly Shonen Jump editorial department says “Thank you for always reading Black Clover. Black Clover will be absent starting the next issue in order to prepare for its Final Arc. After consulting this matter with Yuki Tabata, it has been decided for the mangaka to take a rest for a certain period of time and then go back to write the continuation of the series. Due to these circumstances, this break is expected to last about 3 months.
We will inform you of more exact dates in upcoming issues of the Weekly Shonen Jump. We apologize to all readers who are looking forward to the series, but we hope you all understand. We look forward to your continued support of Black Clover.”
In the note, WSJ thanked all the readers and apologized for the inconvenience. They also said that fans would understand and will support Black Clover as they always did.

A note from author Yuki Tabata was also released. The note says, “If I were to follow my own feelings, I would have kept drawing without a rest. But after having a thorough discussion with the Editorial Department, and in order for me to draw the manuscripts of the final arc at my best, I will be taking a long break.
I’m sorry to all readers that look forward to the series every week. Black Clover will be getting even more exciting and I will be back to put all of my strength and spirit to finish it properly, so I hope you can wait until then.”
In the note, Writer and Author Yuki Tabata apologized for this delay but he said that this was important to maintain the quality as he expects himself to deliver the best for series fans. He also promised that the manga will be getting more exciting from here and he urged fans to wait until the series returns to WSJ.
We hope Tabata sensei takes this time to improve his health and rest properly. The manga and the fans can wait. We all are grateful for entertaining us tirelessly.
