Call of the Night Unveils a Chic Visual for the Upcoming Anime Series
To put it simply, Call of the Night is an anime with a protagonist who’s a high-school boy version of Twilight’s Bella Swan. What’s more to him is that his unique talent is pretending to fall asleep.
Everyone loves a vampire-themed romance, whether we like to admit it or not. The manga has been a massive success among rom-com and supernatural lovers, and its anime will also be incredible.
Call of the Night (Yofukashi no Uta) manga series has revealed an impressive key visual for its July 2022 TV anime adaptation.

The visual features the lead couple, Ko Yamori and Nazuna Nanakusa, in the front. Behind them are the supporting characters, including Seri Kikyo, Midori Kohakobe, Akira Asai, Nico Hirata, Kabura Honda, and Hatsuka Suzushiro.
Yamori is a human high-schooler tired of his monotonous life, so to have more thrill in his life, he does the obvious, walking headfirst into danger. He starts going on late-night walks and encounters an eccentric vampire Nazuna.
Meeting Nazuna and experiencing her lifestyle, Yamori wishes to become a vampire, too, but it would require him to fall in love with her. The problem here is both are shy and awkward when it comes to love and the opposite gender.
Moreover, this equation soon escalates into a love triangle when a cute girl from Yamori’s past shows up and starts competing for his attention. Is it a rule for all vampire rom-coms to have a love triangle like this?
