Tsurune Movie Will Be Released In Q3 2022

Tsurune has incorporated many unique plot and aesthetic elements that have digressed far away from the normal sports anime cliché. This can be credited to its great animation and an emotive plot.

Kyoto Animation developed an anime television series adaption, which ran from October 2018 to January 2019. In the third quarter of 2022, an anime film will be released.

Fans who were hoping for a sequel will be happy to know that it’ll be in the form of an anime movie. Tsurune’s official website tweeted a Next Year’s message, revealing that the new film will be released in the summer of 2022.

Tsurune has released a visual where Masaki and Minato are looking directly at the camera breaking fourth-wall conventions.

The tweet also gives us hints about the series’ future goals, albeit the format has yet to be revealed. When the anime first aired in 2018, it was streamed on Crunchyroll and HIDIVE. The film also has a good probability of being released internationally.
