In Episode 12, the battle continues among the groups. It seems like everybody is targeting Hyuse so the worry is whether he will be able to get away in one piece. He needs backup so Chika plans to go to the top of the roof and distract everyone else so Hyuse can escape.
Then we see Inukai locking Hyuse in with his firing. Inukai sees Hyuse as a threat to Ninomiya so he has definite motivation to help the other squads in getting rid of Hyuse.
The situation with Hyuse isn’t looking good. They know he won’t go down easily but at this rate, he might if he doesn’t receive more help.
Tonooka sees Chika and Kuga on the rooftop and he asks Yuba if he can attack them. While Obishima agrees, Yuba suggests that Tonooka should wait for the perfect moment before he attacks.
While everyone is busy figuring out their own thing, Osamu realizes that they’re going to run out of time soon so he tells Hyuse to use Chaos and escape. But Hyuse suggests another plan. He wants to use Meteor and drop the first one on his own location.
If he’s lucky, he’ll make it out alive. And if his plan fails, and he dies, at least the other six guys will also get killed along with him. “Getting four points would be enough even if I’m down”, he says.
The plan gets spoiled however, as Tonooka interrupts Chika’s Meteor attack. He fires a snipe towards Chika and Kuga’s way. Everyone watches with bated breath to see the outcome of the explosion.

Thankfully both Chika and Kuga are revealed to be safe because of Chika’s shield. Now Hyuse’s situation seems doomed and we wonder what he’s going to do next.
Osamu joins Chika and Kuga and he tells them he’s relieved they’re safe and that their training has paid off. He asks Kuga if he can deal with the sniper in the south, with Osamu’s intention being to keep Kuga away from the fights.
He and Chika will keep heading to where Hyuse is and if Kuga manages to cut off their line of fire from the south, it’ll be easier to handle the situation. He warns them to be careful of the Ninonmiya squad.
Meanwhile, Hyuse is too busy with defense that he can’t make a single counter attack. But Konami comments that he has an opportunity to seize because all the squads surrounding him aren’t allies and could just as easily turn against each other any minute.
As everyone keeps targeting Hyuse again, Konami remarks that Hyuse should just use his secret weapon. Karasuma reveals that Hyuse’s secret weapon is the Viper.
As the battle heats up, we see Hyuse taking down the ace of another team and also the Escudo car launch against Obishima truly proves how skilled he is.
