After waiting for 8 years, fans are delighted to see their favorite part-timer Sadao serving them burgers at MgRonald’s again.
Yes, you got it right, we are finally getting the second season of the much-awaited The Devil is a Part-Timer.
The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2 Release Date:
The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2 will be released in 2021. Though an exact date is not announced we can expect it to be released in either a Summer(July) or a Fall(October) release.
The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2 Release Date | Summer or Fall 2021 |
And looking at how studios are splitting a season into two cours recently, the first cour might come out in July while the second one might come out in October making it a split-cour season just like Re:Zero and Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation.
The visual introduces us to a little girl named Alas Ramus, a new character alongside Sadao who’s supposed to mess up his already messed-up life. Besides that we can see Sadao, Emi, Alciel, Hanzo, Chiho and Suzuno.
In the trailer, we can see Sadao continue his part-time job at MgRonald’s while other characters continue on their day-to-day life.
However, towards the end of the video, we can see the cute little Alas Ramus sleeping while another new character in armor was seen crossing swords with Sadao in his Satan form.
The Devil is a Part-Timer S2 Cast and Staff:
The cast from the previous season will reprise their roles while the voice actor for Alas has not been announced yet. The staff behind the anime has not been announced as of now but we will update it as soon as it gets announced.
The Devil is a Part-Timer S2 Studio:
The first season was animated by White Fox.
However looking at the teaser and the visual one thing is clear, that the art has changed drastically including the character designs.
This implies that we will probably see a new studio along with new staff animating the second season.
As shown in MAL, Infinite is the producer of the second season. The studios which mainly animate Infinite produced projects are P.A. Works and Studio 3Hz.
While Passione, Nexus, Actas, and White Fox have done a handful of anime together.
So it might be either P.A. Works or Studio 3Hz animating the second season. Though we have to wait till the official announcement to make sure of that.
Conclusion:
Though we might not get the same art style or studio as the first season we should be grateful that we are getting a second season of this gem of an anime. So, let’s hope for the best and wait for the release date, staff, and studio confirmation of the second season of The Devil is a Part-Timer.
