Senku’s Dream of Reaching Space Came to Fruition in Ch 224 of Dr. Stone

Senku has finally opened his eyes to behold the majestic sight of space in chapter 224 of Dr. Stone. He was given a moment to himself before the others could wake up.

This was possible because of Xeno and Stanley, who have started doting on Senku. Yes, these are the same guys who were hell-bent on killing Senku and his entire crew once upon a time.

Xeno had prepared the revival fluid watches so that Senku could wake up earlier than the other two. Xeno knows about Senku’s background and his dad, Byakuya, and thus rewarded the overworking genius with some alone time.

Ever since Senku was small, he has tirelessly aimed at reaching the space. It’s rare to see an emotional side of Senku, and this chapter shows how even the genius scientist needs a break to sit back with his memories.

Although the moment doesn’t last too long, Senku gets to remember his father and all the people he has lost. His dream to reach space has finally been fulfilled.

Dear Stanley turns out to be soft-hearted, even while he denies his intentions by citing the “I’m just a soldier following orders” excuse.

Next, Kohaku wakes up and turns the atmosphere a little more lively by jumping around and commenting on the zero gravity.

Soon, they eat a ramen meal that was prepared by Francois, and Senku reminisces how this is the same meal that the 21st-century astronauts had in space.

The story’s climax will happen soon, and this was a relaxing chapter with a look back at all the progress the science crew has made. It is time for Why-Man to finally make an appearance!
