The latest chapter came out and fans are wildly excited for the release of One Punch Man Chapter 146. With the arrival of the Monster Cadres, the fights have gotten incredibly chaotic and what seemed like a shot at victory seems a lot harder right now. This fight has so much more yet to occur!
Psykos was a very tough opponent – she probably would have thrashed the S-Class hero, if Tatsumaki hadn’t been there. But the Number 2 hero took on the threat alone and successfully contained Psykos.
With enough help, she managed to clinch victory. Without Tatsumaki, the heroes would probably lose.
However, now that the Tornado of Terror is mostly out of gas, the rest of the heroes are facing the Monster Cadres and they are a force to be reckoned with. Let us take a look at these new threats, who have nearly brought the S Class Heroes down.
Two of them, Elder Centipede and Gouketsu have died. Nyan and Rover have also been defeated. As for Gums, he was recently torn in two. The remaining are Homeless Emperor, Fuhrer Ugly, Evil Natural Water and Black Sperm.
The combined power of these four will cause a lot of trouble to the heroes.
Believe it or not, the Monster Association Arc is far from its end. It has been a large arc but keep in mind, this will be the one that brings an end to the Humans vs Monsters Saga. We look forward to One Punch Man 146, which will steadily progress the events of this arc and bring us more exciting battles.
There are even rumors of One Punch Man Season 3 getting renewed soon.
One Punch Man Chapter 146 Release Date:
We regret to inform you that the release date of One Punch Man 146 is nearly impossible to predict. Yes, it is a Monthly manga but the release schedule has been more inconsistent than ever. Let us give you a small example of what we mean.
Boruto is a monthly manga too. But once it ends, it also tells us the release date for the next chapter. Same is done by Dragon Ball Super. But here comes One Punch Man – sometimes it comes biweekly, sometimes monthly, and there is no pattern to discern the dates. Hence, we are stumped.
Also, there is a naming discrepancy! The official release in Shonen Jump, which is 1 chapter lagging behind the unofficial releases, has gone up to Chapter 142.
However, Chapter 142 of the official release is the same as Chapter 144 of the unofficial release. It’s a little error that you will figure out easily if you have read both versions.
We expect One Punch Man 146 to release sometime during the month the June. We do not know of the date. Hopefully, the chapter will come out soon!
One Punch Man Manga 146 Discussion:
Let us have a little chat, a small discussion amongst ourselves, before we move on to the spoilers of One Punch Man 146. The release of the chapters has been very exciting and the fights have gotten extremely intense.
If another season of the anime is ever introduced, and if it manages to adapt the manga properly, it might just become one of the most celebrated combat anime!
Why does Evil Natural Water pose such a threat?
Atomic Samurai and Iai are having trouble against this cadre. After all, they are swordsmen and the opponent is literally, water. What are they supposed to do, drink it? Plus, the monster has like no weak points. Typically, these monsters have some kind of core, which can be cut – but the swordsmen haven’t found it.
Additionally, the monster is probably deriving its strength from some sort of water body. If there is some underground water, it gets to absorb and get stronger. Iai considers the horror of the situation, if this monster manages to merge with the oceans. It would be catastrophic!
However, Darkshine is a good counter to the monster. His super strong body can withstand the powerful jets of water, as if it is getting a nice bath! One Punch Man Manga 146 might show us the real power of this monster.
What will be Black Sperm’s fate?
The past couple chapters showed us a confrontation between Atomic Samurai and Black Sperm – lacking the necessary knowledge, the Samurai faced a very problematic foe and ended up losing. But this time, he won’t cut the monster, he is simply beating it with its blade!
Genos and Bang are doing the same thing, beating it up. Tatsumaki used her psychic powers to thrash it for herself! A pretty rough ordeal for the cocky monster. But as Darkshine insulted it for its lack of spark, the monster gave a strange smile.
One Punch Man 146 will show how strong Black Sperm truly is. He is a real menace, a Dragon Level Threat. We are going to reveal it in the spoiler section, so join us if you want to know!

Since it is adapted from the Webtoon, we know the general progression of the plotline. Of course, we won’t spoil it all for you – that just takes the fun out of reading the series. We will just make small, exciting reveals from it just to hype you up.
Fair warning, if you want to avoid spoilers, long term or short term both, at any cost, please skip this part. Know that we are trying to get these spoilers because a lot of fans love to know about them, and so do we.
Oh and another thing, take the spoilers with a grain of salt. Murata doesn’t copy ONE’s webtoon panel by panel, he makes a lot of informed changes.
One Punch Man Chapter 146 will probably show us a fusion. Black Sperm has two advanced forms – multi sperm form and the infamous Golden Sperm. Which the former was easily taken out by Tatsumaki, the latter is one of the strongest members of the Monster Association.
Make no mistake, Golden Sperm is definitely stronger than most of the S-Class heroes present and it can even be compared to Orochi himself! This is a very tough villain that awaits us. We do not know for sure if One Punch Man 146 will have him, but he is coming soon.
