“Chainsaw Man” has continued to rise in popularity during the past few years. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the new Chainsaw chapter 86 spoilers and it has been finally announced online.
The manga, written by Tatsuki Fujimoto, was first published in Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine in December 2018. The series is widely known for its gore and dark setting, which is rare to find in any other Shonen Jump series.
The past few chapters have turned the story upside-down with the reveal of Makima’s true evil intentions. Denji had previously put all his trust in the person he fell in love with, which made him lose his friends Aki and Power in one of the most gruesome ways possible.
Makima tells Denji that the promise he made with Pochita was actually a contract. Denji’s happiness was part of the said deal. Makima did all this from the start so that she could break the contract between him and Pochita, the chainsaw devil. By making Denji lose everything, it will be hard for him to ever live a peaceful life he once dreamed of.
Another twist that is revealed in the latest chapters is that Chainsaw devil is actually a legendary devil from Hell whose real power is to wipe out anyone from existence by killing and eating them. Makima plans to use his power to wipe out death, war and hunger among the human population.
It is shown to the readers that Makima is so twisted that she is willing to die several times to fulfill her dreams. Her actual goal is still unclear, as she vaguely explains it to Kishibe, leaving the important details for the future development of the story.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 85 Recap:
Chapter 85 of “Chainsaw Man” is titled “Bloody Good Guy Feeling.” The chapter starts with a double-page spread colored cover to celebrate the success of Chainsaw Man in Shounen Jump Magazine.
In the first panel, we see Kishibe pointing his gun towards Makima as he asks her to stay still. In a fascinating turn of events, it is revealed that Makima knows that she is soon going to be slaughtered by Chainsaw Man. Makima, unfazed by the current situation, picks up a sword and warns the old man to stand back. As soon as she takes a stance, Denji bursts through the windows and slices Makima into pieces. Denji then hears a faint voice, calling for help. He immediately leaves the building, as Kishibe stands there speechless.
The focus is now shifted to a restaurant named “Family Burger,” where a group of employees is singing and dancing. Kobeni, the former public safety devil hunter, is now working as an employee of the restaurant. Her boss rather seems unpleased with her performance as he believes that Kobeni forces herself to smile which does not look family-friendly at all.
Kobeni’s habit of saying “ah” at every sentence ticks the owner off, making him slap her out of frustration. As the other staff member joins in, to seemingly tease Kobeni, she quietly murmurs “Save me.” On the next page see Denji, in his devil form, standing in front of Kobeni and her coworker.
One of the customers is baffled by Denji’s appearance and tries to escape, but is instantly decapitated by Denji. It looks like Denji is not fully conscious. The chainsaw man looks at the restaurant’s menu and remembers a memory where he was talking to Pochita about how he wants to eat a hamburger that’s not rotten. He sits at a nearby table and speaks gibberish.
The mascot of the restaurant panics and shouts to call the devil hunters. But before he could complete his sentence, Denji decapitates the mascot as well.
Kobeni is quick to understand that Denji is asking for a hamburger. Not wasting their time, the staff prepares for the order as they sing and dance in a panic even in such a grave situation. The boss orders Kobeni to serve the hamburger to Denji. However, Kobeni slips and spills the food all over as she is too nervous. The staff prepares for the second hamburger.
Annoyed by her action, Kobeni’s coworker blames her for their demises, before getting killed by Denji as well.
As Kobeni again attempts to deliver the food, she trips again in an identical manner, throwing the hamburger all over Denji’s face. As Kobeni cries on the floor, everyone starts to panic even more.
Chainsaw Man Chapter 86 Spoilers and Predictions:
For the spoilers to be released, the raw scans need to be leaked and translated first. Chainsaw Man 86 raw scans will be released somewhere near September 25, 2020. We will share it here once leaked. For now, we have some predictions for the next chapter.
As the story is turning darker expect the next few chapters to focus on Denji’s mental condition. This could go two ways. Denji will either lose his human emotions completely or will gain his human heart back.
Makima is brutally killed by Denji in the latest chapter. Judging by all the previous deaths Makima has gone through, it wouldn’t be surprising if she is found to be alive in the future.
Kishibe might play a bigger role in upcoming chapters to stop Denji from killing more innocent people. Denji would probably spare the old hunter as he once promised Kishibe that he will let him go if they were to ever fight seriously.
As Kobeni is crying while lying on the floor, it is highly unlikely that she would be killed in the next chapter. Her abilities are still unknown and she yet hasn’t offered much to the series despite being a character introduced as early as in chapter 10. She has a hidden potential that we are yet to see.
