Solo Leveling 113 Recap:
Without wasting time, Jin-Woo and Cha decide to get to the Association’s gymnasium and take the test. Jin-Woo embraces Cha, allowing him to use Shadow Exchange and transport her to the gym. He wanted to test this ability.
The Shadow Exchange is like a gate and can transport two or more people sticking close. Jin-Woo is the gate opening, while the shadow is the target coordinate and the gate exit. The ability has a 3 hour cooldown but it allows Jin-Woo to travel great distances.
From the storage room, Cha gets a nice longsword for her upcoming spar. She has forgotten her original weapon. Jin-Woo summons Igris, the best swordsman shadow. Igris will fight Cha until she either destroys it or surrenders herself. Jin-Woo didn’t bring out Beru because it would be traumatic, given how the Ant King mortally wounded her.
Jin-Woo gives the Demon King’s Longsword to Igris. It has a special skill, Storm of White Lightning – summon a storm of lightning to a target spot. The fight begins. Igris goes in for a quick attack. Meanwhile Chairman Gun-hee was watching via the cameras. He realizes Cha’s passion and decides to give her privacy. With some decent effort, Cha defeats Igris.
But Cha knows about Beru from the videos. She knows it is the stronger shadow and wants to fight it. Beru is summoned. Both Jin-Woo and Beru try to confirm whether the woman is determined to fight, irrespective of her wellbeing.
Solo Leveling 114 Release Date:
The series has changed its release date from Saturday to Wednesday. From now on, it has a new schedule. Solo Leveling Manga 114 Korean Raw Scans will be released on August 12, 2020. The English translation for the chapter will be available few hours later – can be either 12 or 13 of August.

Solo Leveling Chapter 114 Spoilers
Hunter Cha Hae-In will fight Shadow Beru in Solo Leveling 114. She was defeated easily by Beru’s original form, the Ant King. And Shadow Beru is stronger, given his constant regeneration. So there is absolutely zero chance of Cha winning this.
Technically, Cha should be accepted into the guild. Jin-Woo brought out Igris and it was defeated. As the test conductor, Jin-Woo chose Igris, even if it was in consideration for Cha. Thus, Cha has fulfilled the terms and can be a member.
But Solo Leveling Manga 114 will go differently. Cha has chosen Beru of her own volition. She will be defeated and consequently, lose the chance to join the guild. Let us talk a bit more about the upcoming battle.
Beru will be ordered to dominate Cha, without actually killing her. It will prove to her that it’s the superior fighter in all stats. Cha will be pushed back and dominated over and over again. But she possesses a never-give-up attitude. Every time she falls, Hunter Cha will get back up and keep fighting.
Solo Leveling 114 will be like a character study for Cha. Despite facing an unmovable wall, despite being in an unwinnable situation, Cha will keep struggling, trying to eke out a win for herself. Beru will not understand her determination – some might say it’s due to her liking for Jin-Woo, some might say it’s her pride.
Eventually, Cha’s power flare up will cause a negative reaction in Beru. The shadow will feel a threat to it’s master and break command. It will try to attack Cha seriously. Fortunately, Jin-Woo will stop it just in time. Unfortunately, Cha will not get into the guild.
Lastly, Solo Leveling Chapter 114 can also give us another glimpse of the Monarchs. These characters are actively setting up the upcoming arc. We believe after all this guild matter is settled, we will enter the arc of Monarchs. It will probably be launched by Jin-Woo returning to the Temple of Cartenon, the place where it all began.
