One Piece fans are overjoyed to know that there is no break before the release of One Piece Manga 982. The past 2 months, it was a biweekly manga due to lockdown problems. We are all hoping that there will be no breaks for the next 2 weeks.
In lieu of this, let us start with a hilarious meme.
In case you did not get it, it is a play on the trope of Big Mom Pirates getting kicked off the waterfall but a Flying Zoan User – King, Marco and then Pell.
One Piece is currently in the Wano Arc’s Third Act. Wano will be the concluding arc to this long running Saga, that stretches right from Fishman Island. Fishman Island connected the StrawHats to Big Mom, followed by Straw Hats getting involved with Caeser and Law, followed by Law-Luffy alliance going after Doflamingo, which led them to Kaido; but here Sanji got kidnapped and Luffy had to bring him back from Big Mom and now finally, he is facing Kaido and Big Mom.
With the conclusion of this arc, Luffy will finally be able to breathe. He will not be caught in this cycle of events that continue endlessly. However, it seems there are complications. We all thought that Act 3 is nearing its end but that doesn’t seem like Oda’s plan. There is more complexity involved. We will discuss that in this article.
Talking of anime, One Piece Episode 930 is still on break and no new news has been released for Dragon Ball Super Season 2, so we will keep you updated and let’s do a recap of the last chapter.

One Piece 981 Recap:
Chapter 981: Engagement
Kidd smashes Apoo against a rock, crushing it. Queen is extremely surprised to see Kidd, since he was supposed to be locked in Udon. Kidd berates Apoo severely for betraying the alliance. Here Apoo declares that an alliance between Supernovas can never bring down a Yonko. Pirate Alliances always end up in tragedy.
Queen orders Kidd and Luffy to be killed. Apoo counterattacks. As the Gifters attack Kidd’s crew, they’re interrupted by Number Hacha, who declares that they can’t become Flying Six members. Luffy saves Kidd from an arrow and they all plan to sneak out. But Apoo attacks them.
Killer advices them to cover their ears. Anyone who can’t hear Apoo’s attacks, will not be damaged by it. It turns out Orochi fed a SMILE to Killer, who only wanted to protect his captain. Who’s Who arrives with his crew and they set out to find Yamato before Sasaki can.
Elsewhere, Big Mom is informed that her children are about to reach Wano Port. On the eastern side of the island, Kinemon leads his troops. Since the Samurai have not been discovered, they changed their strategy. A portion of them will mingle with the Beast Pirates while the other follows the designated path. Then they will coordinate and attack together.
However, due to outdated maps, they run into a problem. They have to cross a bridge next to a brothel. 2000 people can’t go unnoticed. While Sanji is excited at the prospect of beautiful women, it seems that the place is empty. The women have left due to the chaos caused by Luffy.
But its good news and Kinemon starts crossing the bridge. He worries about Momonosuke, but entrusts him to Carrot, Nami and Shinobu. At this point, a silhouette appears and they all jump into the water. Big Mom peeps out and comes face to face with Chopper.
At the outside Waterfall of Wano, the Big Mom pirates are climbing. Perorin and Daifuku are pissed about the Alliance with Kaido and Smoothie simply agrees with Big Mom’s ideas. Perorin remembers how King had kicked them off at that point.
And exactly then, a bird flies out and turns out, its Marco the Phoenix. He kicks the ship down the waterfall, just like King did. This is noticed by two others – Nekomamushi and Izo.
One Piece 982 Spoilers:
We will probably see Who’s Who searching for or maybe finding Yamato in One Piece Manga 982. Which means we will finally be able to see who Yamato is! Also, based on the conversations between Who’s Who and his crew strongly hint that he wants to fight Queen. So the prediction we made in the last article is probably coming true.
The last two weeks, we all were excited about Apoo. We thought Kidd will be the one who figures out Apoo’s weaknesses. However it is Killer. This probably means Killer and Kidd will combine to defeat Apoo while Luffy and Zoro holds back the others. We might see Luffy or Zoro facing Number Hacha, if they don’t escape soon.
One Piece 982 spoilers might reveal the important stuff that the Numbers have with Kaido. The first member of the mysterious Numbers has just been revealed and he is gigantic. We might see the rest of the Numbers and their ordeal with Kaido.
Chopper’s meeting with Big Mom can lead to a catastrophe, or it might be nothing at all. If Big Mom remembers the time she spent with him, she will recognise the plan and devastate Kinemon’s group then and there. The whole left flank will die. However, she might just let it do since Chopper is disguised and the tank can just be a part of Beast Pirates.
Also, the conversation between Kinemon and Nami shows that Nami, Carrot and Shinobu might take a detour and search for Momonosuke. This might mean that they will have to face and defeat Kanjuro.
One Piece Manga 982 might show us the movements of the 2 other groups – the right flank led by Denjiro and Law’s group. We might see Marco, Neko and Izo discovering Law’s group and helping them launch an attack.
It seems that the Big Mom pirates are out for the while. They have been toppled once more and they need time to regroup and climb back up. However, if they act quickly, they might just do it sooner and reach the battle.
Finally, there is an issue we have to discuss. Apoo said Pirate Alliance never have happy endings. Is this is a foreshadowing that Oda is so famous for? Luffy and Law are in a Pirate alliance and it might have a tragic ending. This obviously hints that Law might die!
One Piece Battle Theories:
Just like last time, we are here with a new battle matchup in the upcoming Wano War. This one is freshly based on the latest chapter.
Marco vs King is an amazing matchup. They are both Flying Zoan users and the Strongest Yonko Commanders. King is the strongest one in Kaido’s crew and Marco was the strongest commander in Whitebeard’s crew.
In addition to this, them knocking out the Big Mom Pirates in a similar manner is a big hint. In this battle, we believe Marco will win and that will be of immense help to Luffy. With this, two of the 3 commanders of Kaido are occupied. We will be addressing the third commander in the next article.
One Piece – Tragedy in Wano Act III:
The following portion is a theory from Mr. Morj, a famous One Piece YouTuber.
Wano Act 3 is taking a long time to end. We expected it to end after a tragedy. But it didn’t end after Oden’s death, a major tragedy. So there must be some major tragic event awaiting us. This is not all.
The Straw Hats are presently in a carefree mood, one that doesn’t suit that of a war. Their emotional investment is still too little, it is nowhere as close to the emotions shown at Enies Lobby. If Act 3 is a tragedy, then the emotions of the straw hats will change and major changes in pace will occur.
The Straw Hats have currently gotten all the help and support they needed. This means, if things go wrong now, there will not be anyone to save them at the nick of time. And from the looks of it, the Raid of Onigashima will fail, if we follow the standard story pattern in the series.
So, we will probably see the Straw Hats and their allies getting crushed by Kaido’s group. At that point, there will be a distraction provided by another party and they will get a chance to regroup. After that, they will counterattack with re-instilled enthusiasm and courage and defeat Kaido.
One Piece Chapter 982 Raw Scans and Release Date:
After the 1-week gap, One Piece 982 is scheduled to release its raw scans on 10 June 2020. Keep an eye on our site and we will bring these spoilers for you. The raw chapter will be in Japanese and it will take scanlators less than 30 hours to translate it and present them in English, French, and more.
