Since the trilogy focuses on Noa’s attempt to attack a Federation cabinet member in Australia, the movie needs to be designed after the specific area.

Exhibiting Adelaide, Australia, is not possible at the moment due to restrictions for the Coronavirus pandemic. Since the area can’t be covered, the director has been using a flight simulator for the design.

Kidō Senshi Gundam: Senkō no Hathaway: San of Bright is the working title of the upcoming film. It will adapt the second volume of the original novel.

Producer Naohito Ogata has stated that the upcoming film will stray a bit from the original plot. It might have original characters or scenes.

The second film will build on Noa’s soured relationship with his father as he has joined the organization, which directly opposes his dad’s work.

Netflix had claimed the rights to the first movie, so it will definitely stream the second movie.

If you are interested in watching the film in theaters, then just like the first film, the second one might also be available a month after its Japan release.
