On May 10, Dr. Stone dropped Chapter 149, and it took us through a ride. Our favorite scientists are having a hell of a ride in America.
The chapter ended with our heroes getting attacked by a mysterious person who happens to use a freaking machine gun. What do you think will happen?

Chapter 149 Recap
The chapter starts when Senku found out corn from the stomach of the alligators that attacked them. Senku explains to Chrome the amount of alcohol they can sneeze out from corn.
While Senku tells them that there might be a chance that they won’t be able to find much of it, Kohaku with her eagle-like sight, notices corn kernel floating downstream of the river.
This breaks out as good news for the team, as it meant there are loads of corn nearby. Senku seemed to be suspicious about finding corn so conveniently.
They report back to home base about their search results. A suspicious figure seemed to have intercepted the communication and seen making his move.
While the team set camps, Senku uses light to attract bugs. When interrupted by Gen, he explains how by studying bugs they can get an idea about the area.
The bugs they attract are the European Corn Borer Mothwhich survives mostly on corn. This confirms their theory about a ton of corn being nearby.
The fact that they found these moths also raised a problem. With the extinction of humanity, these moths shouldn’t have survived. This concluded that someone has been growing a cornfield.
At the same time, Tsukasa senses bloodlust nearby. While Kohaku says it could be a wild beast, Tsukasa smells smoke from a gun firing.
Thinking about all the events that occurred with them, Hyoga concludes that they have been lured into a trap. Sensing the danger to come, Tsukasa warns everyone to take cover, as they are fired upon.
Everyone gets back to cover while being shot from a freaking machine gun. Ryusui as the captain gets the team to retreat. We get to see a sneak peek of our shooter, who is seen smoking a cigarette.
While nobody gets hurt thanks to Tsukasa’s reflexes. The team still rattled by the machine gun trying to get to an explanation of what just happened to them.
Ukyo believes that it’s a scientist who revived on their own just like Senku. Gen says that they should be grateful for that person since he has been growing corn.
While, Senku lets everyone in on the worst-case scenario which is a showdown between our team and an evil scientist, which is our Dr. Stone’s favorite arena.
Dr Stone Chapter 150 Spoilers & Predictions
There haven’t been any news about the Dr Stone 150 manga chapter raw scans yet. But here’s what that we might get to see in the next chapter.
These are not the official spoilers but the predictions we have for the upcoming chapter, we will be sharing the official spoilers as soon as they get released.
We know that the Ultimate Battle Team is also part of the search team, so they have enough firepower. Also, when it comes to science, Senku isn’t the one to back down.
If our mystery attacker is truly an evil scientist, what awaits is an astonishing science battle between him and Senku.
What we might get to see in Dr Stone Chapter 150, would be Senku and the team trying to uncover who the attacker was, and how he survived. While, we also might get to see something about our mystery attacker.
But what if our mystery attacker isn’t alone. The way he handled the gun, and his movements suggested that he had combat abilities, and he is agile. What if is there are a bunch of Americans, who have recovered a while ago, and our mystery attacker was just a part of the scout team?
If this is true, and I hope it is, we could get to see a full out war between Team Senku and Team America. While there is an alternative, that is when Team America decides to join Senku. But the likelihood of that happening is very small.
Since, all this time, they never reached out. If he can create machine guns and cigarettes, they could have made communication systems, and the plot could have been a lot different.
