Attack on Titan manga chapter 128 Recap/Summary
Chapter 128 titled “Traitor (Uragirimono)”.The chapter begins with Theo and Hange spying on the yeagerists. Magath amazed discovering that flying boat was still intact. Hange theorizes that yeagerists acknowledge the importance of Azumabito family’s technology.
Being fully aware that the survey Corps won’t partake in unnecessary bloodshed presents the group with a conundrum on how would they possibly accomplish all the objectives.
Connie who protested against the bloodshed and Armin without any alternate plan forces warrior unit (Annie and Reiner precisely) mutually decide to let survey corps sit out of this fight. Hange rejects the idea, realizing everyone about the “wall titans” arrival on the northeastern part of Marley.
Abruptly, Magath forces himself over Yelena, immobilizing her and demands the whereabouts of Eren. Kiyomi, later on, says that he will just make the world smaller, brushing off that aside Flosch replies that it’s important to know one’s place.
However, his discussion is interrupted by the arrival of Armin and Connie. They call out him under the pretence of chasing the cart and Armored Titans. He mentions they need Azumbitos Engineers to prepare the ship to follow them. Such revelation leaves Flosch confused whereas to imply the urgency here, Armin claims that Jean and Onyankopon have been killed.
Later, they find out their former training corps friends Daz and Samuel have joined Yeagerists and that the boat has been rigged with explosives. Using the same bluff as before they try to disconnect them but Samuel remarks that they are suspected to side with Marley. Immediately, they refuse which convinces Daz while he disconnected the explosives from the detonator.
However, Flosch does not buy Armin’s bluff and decides to eliminate his concerns and aims the gun at one of the engineers. Kiyomi intercepts, forcing him down. Flosch orders other Yeagerist to kill her but Mikasa dives in and saves the day. In the fight, Flosch escapes outside and alerts others about the betrayal of Armin, Connie and Mikasa.
Heeding the alert, Daz begins reconnecting the explosives. Armin tries to stop him is shot by Samuel and tells Connie not to move. Samuel brings the old conversation about their dream and wonders how did turn like this. Soon, Annie and Reiner transform into Titans.
In the end, after a bit of struggle, Armin regains consciousness and tries to stop Daz from reconnecting the explosives. Daz points his gun at Armin while Samuels calls Connie a traitor which reminds both Armin and Connie the situation of Bertolt. Connie screams and yank away Samuel’s gun which he uses to kill Daz, saving Armin and then, in the end, he kills Samuel as well.
Attack on Titan chapter 129 predictions
Predicting the most unpredictable series is no easy task. However, let’s discuss the possible predictions that may turn out to be true in the upcoming chapter:
- The battle between Yeagerists and Alliance continues The battle that just has begun and the struggle for humanity’s last hope. Easily the battle would continue till chapter 130. The battle not only signifies the decision of Survey Corps to partake in bloodshed but also the responsibilities and solidarity they believe in. The alliance and Survey corps are ready to sacrifice for the greater good of the world and their beliefs.
- The Alliance would probably lose a member: It’s quite certain that Yeagerists would lose this battle. Though, it won’t be too easy for the main cast. We might see, an alliance member bite the dust in the upcoming chapters. It’s possible that it would be either Connie or Hange. Connie’s case has more weight, due to the focus on him in the last few chapters. We also saw Connie killing his former mates for the sake of his beliefs and responsibilities. He also had a certain amount of development. Observing Isayama’s pattern- It’s likely that Connie would die in the next following chapters.
- Armin Turning into Colossal Titan and Fighting alongside Reiner and Annie: While Reiner and Annie transformed into their Titan forms to fight the Yeagerists. We might possibly see Armin: The colossal Titan joining the battle and giving us more of titan action. He could turn colossal titan to avoid unnecessary sacrifices from their side. Hange mentioned that even with titan power as the backup, it would be difficult to defeat the Yeagerists.
- Mikasa having an epic battle moment: While Levi is on the stretcher, Mikasa is the sole highlight and replacement of him. It’s likely she will have an epic moment like none before. In chapter 128, we find her saving Kiyomi like a badass. Mikasa Ackerman is one of the fan-favorite characters in Attack on Titan manga series.
Attack on Titan manga Chapter 129 Release date and delay News
Attack on Titan chapter 129 will be released on 10 June 2020. The date is subject to change but we will share the confirmed release date once it is announced.
The delay was announced on 14 April 2020. The release date is being delayed due to the Corona epidemic. Attack on Titan is a monthly manga series and chapter 129 was subjected to release in May but was delayed by a whole month due to safety concerns of the staff in the corona epidemic.
