Demon Slayer fans have been feeling a weird mix of both elation and anxiety over the recent news that Mugen Train Arc will be turned into an anime comprising 7 episodes. The Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Movie broke a lot of world records and was one of the top three highest-grossing films of all time.
While we loved every aspect of the movie, every one of us has to confess how much we hated the end of the movie because of Flame Hashira’s tragic death. The battles were engaging and kept you on your toes throughout even as different ideologies clashed.
Let us rejoice because the massive popularity of the Demon Slayer movie has forced studios to produce an anime of 7 episodes. This new anime will premiere on the 10th of October 2021 on Funimation and Crunchyroll.

The Similarities And Differences Between The Mugen Train Arc Anime Series And Movie
Without a doubt, both the series and movie will have similar themes since the source material is the Mugen Train Arc from the manga. However, the producers have decided that the new series will have different background music, trailers and teasers, and visuals. They’ve already released the visual.
Another notable difference is that the series will feature a first episode that will build the character and life of Rengoku, the Flame Hashira. We need to keep our tissues ready for we’ll get to experience Rengoku as a human with his own aspirations and emotions. That will be an effing bloodbath.
The anime will feature an addition of around 70 new animation cuts, a highly welcome creative decision. The opening and ending songs will be Akeboshi and Shirogane by LiSA.
