Netflix Announces Tiger And Bunny’s 2022 Comeback After 7 Years
Wild Tiger and Barnaby Brooks Jr. are back at it again, as Tiger & Bunny returns after a seven-year-long hiatus.

The show takes place in Sternbild City, where superheroes with special abilities known as NEXT run around, saving the city to become the next king of heroes and bring their sponsors some positive limelight.
Although Barnaby and Kotetsu are part of the Second League now, it seems like they still run the show for Apollon Media.
Netflix has released a visual for the upcoming Tiger & Bunny 2 anime. The first season of Tiger & Bunny will also be released on Netflix soon.
The visual features Kotetsu and Barnaby and their suits with a brightly lit Sternbild City in the background. Their suits seem to be unchanged except for minor accents on the helmets.
The second season of Tiger & Bunny will have a total of 25 episodes and will be exclusively available on Netflix. The first 13 episodes of the sequel will be released in April 2022.
This season will take place after the events of the second movie, The Rising. The hero system employed in Sternbild City has now been adopted all over the world, and naturally, business is booming for Apollon Media.
As the number of heroes keep increasing, some new ones have entered Sternbild City to study the system from where it originated from.
Even though Barnaby and Kotetsu are expected to help as senior heroes, it seems like the sponsor is pushing them back to let their new heroes rise.

It wouldn’t be an overstatement to say that Tiger & Bunny was the anime that popularized the “real-world take on superhero society” genre. Although it might not be as popular as some other series from the genre, it still holds up.
Before the second season is released, do yourself a favor and catch up on the series.

Tiger & Bunny is a 2011 Japanese anime television series produced by Sunrise under the direction of Keiichi Satou.
It is set in a futuristic city where heroes fight crime whilst promoting real-life sponsors, focusing on two superheroes, the old-fashioned Kotetsu T. “Wild Tiger” Kaburagi and the rookie hero Barnaby “Bunny” Brooks Jr., as their employers force them to work together.
