Seirei Gensouki Season 2 Greenlit with Nostalgia Filled New Trailer

Seirei Gensouki’s first season mostly adapted the prologue areas of the light novels, which left many fans dissatisfied. Although the last few episodes gave us closure to Celia, it is only in season two that the anime’s storyline will pick up its pace.

This is a prime example of an isekai anime where the plot begins with an appearance from train-kun. Rio’s internal conflict after reincarnation might arise again in the upcoming season, giving it a twist.

Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles has been greenlit for a second season and a brand new trailer has come out.

The trailer reveals some scenes from season one when Rio was first reincarnated. Was I cheering for train-kun in secret? You have no proof.

As I said, the internal conflict of Rio is an exciting element as not only does he retain all memories of his past life, but the body in which he has reincarnated causes interferences. This, in turn, is also shown in the trailer.

A new visual showing Rio and Celia has been revealed. It is an illustration by Kyoko Yufu, the character designer for the anime.
