The band’s soulful lyrics and their absolutely angelic voices are perfect for any ballad song.

Ogata leaving the band had broken many hearts but Ryohei and Keita have successfully revived the band with “Beautiful Now” last year.

Now, w-inds is back with their new music video, ‘Strip,’ which is available for streaming digitally from September 24, 2021. The song belongs to their original album, ‘20XX “We Are,”’ which will be released on November 24, 2021.

The music video further proves how the band keeps evolving even after more than 20 years of its debut. Not only their strong resolve as a band but their dancing skills are also shown in the video.

The MV’s highlight is when the dancers sit on chairs while performing, making it look like they are trying to get past the shackles of the past.

‘20XX “We Are”’ is being released three years after their last original album ‘100.’ So you can guess just how precious this is to fans as it will also mark their 20th anniversary.

The album will consist of ten songs, all of which are produced by Keita Tachibana himself. All the new tracks will be released soon.

Although w-inds has released pop and ballad songs alike, I have always leaned towards their beautiful vocals, which has left a lasting impression on me. The new MV is a pleasant surprise as their dancing skills are paired with the song.

It has been quite some time since I last saw the duo performing, so this comeback is a reward to all fans like me.
