The story follows from the perspective of Ayanokouji Kiyotaka who enters the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School as a student of Class D. This school is dedicated to gathering and nurturing the generation of people that will support the country in the future.
As it may seem, this is no ordinary school. The students are given a high degree of freedom in order to closely use real-life principles.

Classroom Of The Elite Season 3 Release Date
There have been many speculations about the release date for Classroom Of The Elite Season 3 and also whether there will be the next season, but the questions seem to have found an answer.
The animation studio for Classroom Of The Elite, Lerche has confirmed the news for the series returning with a third season on March 6, 2022, during the Kadokawa Anime Channel presentation.
The series has seen different scriptwriters for two seasons, so a new scriptwriter will probably enter the cast along with a new music director.
Crunchyroll, the streaming giant, holds the license for worldwide streaming of Classroom Of The Elite for the first two seasons so the third season can probably be watched there.
Lerche has recently said about running short on funds, hopefully, there will be enough funds to produce the third season as fans are emphasizing the release of a new season.

As the second season of Classroom Of The Elite ends with Volume 7, the third season will pick up from events happening right after that.

After students enjoy their Christmas and coincidences lead to Kiyotaka and Arisu meeting each other, sparks begin to flow as they both hold each other in regard to their abilities. This vacation also helps settle matters between the classes so everyone can enjoy themselves peacefully.
- However, the school isn’t one to maintain peace for long. The third term starts for the first years with a new special exam called the ‘Mixed Training Camp’. The exam will be carried out in a school building deep within the mountains. The students are divided by their genders and furthermore, the first years even need to go against the second and third-year groups. As always, it all comes to the group scoring the highest points so students must give all they have got to score in the exam.
- After the exam, things take an odd turn as Class A leader, Sakayanagi Arisu is determined to crush Class B leader, Honami Ichinose. A restless atmosphere surrounds the school as false rumors about Ichinose start spreading around.
- As no one is expelled after the third-semester exams, the school calls for an additional special exam ‘The Class Poll’. Students get suspicious and do anything in order to expel their enemies from school.
- After getting over the shock of expelling students, the last exam for the first years happens – the ‘Event Selection Exam’. The conditions are risky but students go on to bet their all on it.
- As events in the exam progress, the final decisive battle between Ayanokouji Kiyotaka and Sakayanagi Arisu starts, which is a game of chess.
- All ordeals come to an end and the final event for the first year continues, which is the graduation ceremony. On the other hand, Ayanokouji seeks allies in other homeroom teachers to prepare for the next events.
