The Digimon Franchise has spawned a tremendous amount of films, anime shows, manga, video games, card games, and merchandise. The Digimon Franchise created the iconic eponymous beings, whose habitat is called the “Digital World”, a universe existing parallel to the “real world”.
The Earth’s thriving communication and internet networks gave rise to this world. These eponymous beings bear striking resemblance to the popular Tamagotchi and Giga Pet Toys, from which the aesthetic of the creatures was created.
Produced by the studio Toei Animation and Japan’s Bandai, the first season of this anime series aired in 1999. Since then, a total of eight seasons of the Digimon anime have been produced.
However, for a long time, fans in the West had very few reliable sources to watch their favorite anime from. That’s why Crunchyroll, initially an illegal anime streaming site, is doing an excellent job at providing anime viewers with a great anime collection.
Crunchyroll has been slowly making the Digimon franchise available for streaming. The first season was already made available on its site. But it took some time for Crunchyroll to update Digimon Season 2 on its site. You can watch it here.
The commendable aspect of this integration is that anime fans in France can finally watch it too! However, the sad thing is that not everyone in every country or region can watch it because Crunchyroll offers different anime collections depending on those factors.
Plot of Digimon Season 2
