In Japan, the anime releases every Saturday, at 1:25 AM JST. This means that Kanojo Okarishimasu Rent A Girlfriend Season 2 Episode 9 is coming out on August 27, 2022. According to the previews, we know the episode will be named “Girlfriend and Kiss”.
As of now, the anime is sticking closely to the manga. We like when the adaptations are faithful like this. The next episode will adapt a series of chapters that are titled “The Girlfriend, visiting the parents, and Kiss”.

Kanojo Okarishimasu Season 2 Ep 8 Recap
Even though he is with Ruka, Kazuya sees that Chizuru has been promoted and decides to hire her again. He is really nervous about his decision and regrets it; until he actually saw Chizuru.
Right off the bat, her schoolgirl look amazes him and he realizes that he wants to go through with this.
They visit the amusement park and manage to hold hands. With his first target checked, Kazuya then moves to share food with her. And he succeeds! Carrying on with the dream date, they avoid Sumi and run to the photo booth.
To his surprise, Chizuru chooses the lovers mode of the photo booth, and together, they get a lot of great pictures. They cap it off with a Ferris Wheel ride. Unfortunately, clumsy Kazuya makes a mistake by groping her.
She brushes it off and tells him about her acting job.
As the date ends, Kazuya finally thinks of a way to support her. She has another acting gig coming up and he has some way to assist her. Leaving this rental job means she is moving on with life. Will he manage to progress as well?
Rent A Girlfriend Season 2 Episode 9 Spoilers
The latest episode had a preview at the end! We saw that Kazuya and Ruka are visiting his home! Wearing a weird dress, he sits and thinks awkwardly, while she manages to be such a charming girl.
As a family, they spend some time, and then, Chizuru was tiptoeing! Was that a kiss?! Kanojo Okarishimasu Season 2 Episode 9 is titled “Girlfriend and Kiss” after all.
Let us get a little bit of context to understand these better. We are discussing some minor manga spoilers ahead:
- The day before his birthday, Kazuya is called by his grandma. Apparently, they have a family tradition of dining together.
- As they talk, Grandma finds out that Chizuru’s birthday has passed. This enrages her since she wants to throw a party for her.
- Grandma emphasizes that Chizuru is the best girl and if he loses her, there will be no one better in his life.
- And hence, Kazuya now has to bring her over, in order to have a joint birthday party celebration.
- He goes to invite her over. At her apartment, Chizuru is busy with her work. Kazuya meekly tells her about his predicament.
- However, Chizuru denies it! She has to go to visit her grandma the next day at 5. Which means she can’t visit his parents.
- So what happens now? Will Kazuya replace her with Ruka? How did things differ so suddenly? We will find out in Kanojo Okarishimasu S2 Ep 9.
