My Hero Academia Season 5 Release Date

My Hero Academia premiered for four seasons, and the anime is now releasing the next season. The official announcement was given in the18th issue of the 2020 Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.

The anime was adapted from the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. The story is set in a world where having superpowers is the standard norm. While the protagonist Izuku Midoriya is born without superpowers (called quirks), he is scouted by All Might (Japan’s greatest hero). He helps Izuku to enroll in a prestigious school for heroes on training.

Season 5 is coming soon to hit our screens. Here’s everything we know so far about this superhero anime.

What is the expected plot of Season 5?

Based on the manga, the coming season revolves around the Joint training arc, which will put classes 1A and 1B against each other. Although class 1-A seems to have the upper hand, Class 1-B might surprise us this time since they have greatly improved their skills.

Despite being an adaptation, several chapters of the manga might be compressed into a single episode. We will also see the return of Hitoshi Shinso, a character that played an important role in the Season 2 sports festival.
