Creator of Bleach
The Bleach series is one of the most popular series of all time. It has a very wide fanbase. Also, the Bleach manga is considered one of the big three alongside Naruto and One Piece. The manga ran from 2001 and ended in 2016 with over 600 chapters. After its debut, an anime adaptation for it started in 2004 and ended in 2012. Although the anime did not cover the last arc of the manga. Soon another anime adaptation is coming which will cover the last arc of the manga “The Thousand-Year Blood War” arc. However, in this article, we will talk about the creator of the Bleach manga Tite Kubo and not the manga itself.
Tite Kubo
Tite Kubo is the manga artist who created the Bleach manga. The Bleach manga sold over 120 million copies as of 2018. Kubo was born in Hiroshima Prefecture. He was on June 26, 1977. Kubo’s father worked as a town council member. Later, Kubo sent in an author’s note saying that he got married at the 2012 Jump Festa. Kubo’s real name is Noriaki Kubo.
Influences
He decided to become a mangaka when he was in elementary school. Later, he became interested in architecture and design as well. Yet he preferred to focus on his work as a mangaka. He was influenced by the Saint Seiya manga by Masami Kurumada. Mainly due to the characters wearing armour and having interesting weapons. Kubo was also influenced by Ge Ge Ge noKitaro by Shigeru Mizuki. He also said that he always liked the monsters in the latter series. Kubo said that Akira Toriyama‘s Dragon Ball showed him that all villains must be “strong, scary and cool” with no exception.
