Witness the Psychological Warfare Among Elite Students in Liar Liar Anime
Anything and everything can be a good game if you play it right. The Liar Liar series portrays school life as a psychological mind game where a ‘lie’ is a cheat code for the students to be used effectively.
It’s hard to believe anything published on the internet on April Fool’s day, but I hope everything is pretty clear by now. What could have been a better occasion to announce the anime adaptation of the Liar Liar novel series?
KADOKAWA announced the anime adaptation of the Liar Liar novel series with a 90-second promo video.
The promo is narrated by voice actress Akari Kito (Nezuko Kamado in Demon Slayer), who introduces us to the series’ main characters and gives us a rough idea about the plot.
The video features highly detailed illustrations of Sarasa Saonji, Shirayuki Himeji, and other characters who will play essential roles in the anime. It also had some black and white images that look like manga panels.
The anime will take us to the Academy Island, where a student’s progress is determined by how many stars they collect in a duel called “game.”
The protagonist, Hiroto Shinohara, outshines all other students on the first day of his school and earns 7 stars. But how long can he hold on to this position with the most elite students competing against him?
The story of Sherlock and Moriarty proved that psychological warfare among geniuses can never fail to fascinate us. The plot may seem similar to that of Classroom of the Elite but will have much more ecchi elements in it.
Moriarty the Patriot’s New Promo Takes Us to the Scandalous Masquerade
Since there’s no confirmation for Classroom of the Elite Season 2 yet, I would suggest you keep yourself occupied with this new Liar Liar anime. From school life romance to grave rivalries, it has everything that you are looking for.
