Tokyo Revengers Live-Action Movie Confirms July Premiere And MoviTicke Cards Release
You will have to wait just a bit more before you can fan-girl or fan-boy over the handsome cast of Tokyo Revenger’s Live-Action movie.
The July premiere date has been confirmed, and it will not be long before we get to see the movie in theatres.
Although a first look at the film will give you the impression that it is a typical gangster movie, that is not the case. The film portrays how the protagonist got a second chance at correcting all his previous mistakes.
Tokyo Revengers’ live-action movie adaptation has just announced that the film will premiere in Japanese theatres on 9th July.
MoviTicke cards based on 10 characters from the movie will be distributed starting 23rd April by the participating theatres.

Takemichi, the protagonist of the story, will unintentionally time-travel back to his middle school days. He knows that this is his final chance to save his only ex-girlfriend as well as reverse all his past mistakes.
Now it all depends on whether Takemichi has the guts to climb the ranks of Tokyo’s infamous gangs and establish his own position.

Tokyo Revengers is a manga written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. It began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine on March 1, 2017. It is an ongoing manga that received its 17th compiled book volume on May 15.
The story revolves around Takemichi Hanagaki, who learned that Tokyo Manji Gang had killed his only ex-girlfriend from back in middle school. After learning about the incident, Takemichi was pushed from the railway platform.
Landing on the tracks, he closed his eyes, accepting his death, but when he opened his eyes, he had time-leapt 12 years into the past.
