This all-new cinematic universe takes us back to the world that fears the legendary assassin, Hitokiri Battousai. To those who have already watched the anime, don’t worry; this new avatar of Samurai X holds its individuality to captivate your attention.

The fourth instalment of the movie series is already knocking at the door, and Warner Bros is doing pretty much everything to kick off the hype train for this sequel.

The official YouTube channel for Warner Bros Japan releases a new trailer for Rurouni Kenshin: The Final. The film will premiere on April 23, 2021.

The trailer video features the film’s theme song, Renegades, by the popular Japanese rock band, ONE OK ROCK. It serves as a perfect introduction for the film, where an overpowered antagonist, Enishi, seeks revenge from Kenshin.

Moreover, it was full of intense fight scenes and gave us an idea about the incident that turned Enishi into a monster. We get to know that Enishi is Kenshin’s brother-in-law, and he wants to take revenge on Kenshin for killing his sister fifteen years ago.

Kenshin was ready to pay for his sins, but things go out of control when Enishi decides to torment his allies specifically instead of just killing him. Thus, a battle between the two veteran swordsmen is inevitable.

Don’t get disheartened by the film’s title; it won’t be the final instalment for this series. A sequel film under the title of Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning will premiere on June 4, 2021.
