“Stage Clear And Continue” In Final Panel Of Manga Teases Return Of Tomozaki
Life is a beautiful journey, but not so much for Tomozaki-kun, who considers himself a bottom-tier character. But just like any other game, you can become anyone once you start levelling up.
Everything changes when he meets Aoi Hinami, who turns out to be the special artifact that pushes him to excel at this game called ‘life.’
Like many other popular franchises, Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki started as a light novel then received a manga adaptation later.
The second part of the manga has already come to an end, making us wonder if it will receive a continuation in future.
The March issue of Square Enix’s Gangan Joker magazine revealed that Yuki Yaku’s Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki manga has completed its second part.
Moreover, the magazine has unlisted the manga as continuing for the next month’s issue.
This announcement makes us fear if we will ever see Tomozaki kun again in the manga pages. But thankfully, we find a ray of hope when we turn to the final page of the chapter, which states, “Stage Clear & Continue.”
The phrase indirectly suggests that something may be coming up after Part 2, and the fact that the original light novel is still ongoing makes the theory even more believable.
Hori and Miyamura’s Love Story to End on March 18 with 16 Volumes
The manga has a total of five compiled volumes, and all of them are doing pretty well in the market. The fifth one was released just a few days back on Monday, and the sixth volume will be on sale from April 22.
By the end of Part 2, Tomozaki has learned a lot about life and how to deal with it. But he still has a long way to go to be on par with Aoi.
The English translations for the latest chapters aren’t out yet, and I hope sooner or later we will witness his ultimate evolution to a top-tier character in Part 3.
About Low-Tier Character Tomozaki
Low-tier Character Tomozaki-kun is a light novel series by Yuki Yaku. It is getting an anime adaptation in January 2021.
Tomozaki-kun is a pro-level gamer who thinks that “Life is a bad game.” The powerful have freedom while the weak have to be submissive with no chance to fight for a top position.
He meets Aoi Hinami in high school, who offers to teach him the hacks of turning life into a good game.
