Asta Returns With Perfected Devil Union In Black Clover Chapter 281

We have all been waiting for this exact moment! Asta is finally back and what’s more is that he has an overpowering aura of confidence around him.

Black Clover chapter 281 dashes our hopes of victory in the beginning, but the last few panels have us cheering at the top our lungs!

Chapter 281 mostly clarifies just how powerful the demons are. The magic knight squads are struggling to deal with them, and it seems like all their training was barely of any use!

1. The Primordial Demon

The chapter begins with Zenon explaining how devils were formed at first. Apparently, devils are the product of human hatred.

Two youths of royal blood from ages ago used to hold enormous power. However, the hatred between them turned them into demons, and they merged to become one powerful evil being.

Grinberrryalls, the royal family that ruled the spade kingdom before the Dark Triad, used to guard the demon. The Dark Triad has freed it and the ancient devil is out on a rampage.

2. Has Asta Mastered the Devil Union?

The ancient devil has been let loose on the kingdom, and the magic knights are struggling to defeat it. Just as Damnatio is at his limit, Asta cuts through with a ferocious look on his face and calls forth Liebe.

As we already know, Asta and Liebe had been going through hellish training under Nacht.

At first, the Devil Union itself was a tough thing to achieve but now they can unite on the go! This shows just how much they have progressed. I am also excited to see his new transformation.

Devil Unions lead to new transformations, as we have already observed with both Nacht and Asta. What we are all waiting for is to see the new, and boosted form of Asta.

The next chapter will show just how strong Asta and Liebe have become, and I cannot wait for it!

Now that Asta is about to exhibit his power in front of the citizens, Julius and the other magic squads, will this take him to the next step of becoming the Wizard King?

The story centres around Asta, a young boy seemingly born without any magic power, something that is unknown in the world he lives in. With his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King.
