Touken Ranbu Sword Personification Game makes this curiosity come true by creating some bishounen characters inspired by the swords of their Japanese history.
These drop-dead gorgeous characters are coming back with an English version of the Touken Ranbu game developed by Johren, titled “Touken Ranbu Online.”
As the game’s name suggests, Touken Ranbu will be available to play online and Johren has even begun pre-registration for the game.
Touken Ranbu Online will be the perfect game for you if you love battles and strategy simulations. The game not only lets you create your own sword battalion but also lets you power them up to their full potential with collectable resources.
But, don’t go thinking that you’re in the past from the get-go. Believe it or not, the game actually starts in the future, from 2205.
In order to prevent some mad revisionists from ruining history, you are sent to the past to stop them. Accompanying you are some historical swords that have turned into good looking anime characters.
A PV released in 2020 showcased some of the swords/characters who will be featured in the upcoming online game.
The swords include the famous Yamanbagiri Kunihiro which was used to take down a witch in Mt. Togakushi.
Kunihiro appears as a handsome anime character, who is ready to take down enemies with a single command.
Japan has started to think about the international fans and slowly every game is getting their own English version. So, you don’t have to worry about being left out from Touken Ranbu as the game is available in English!
