Carnival Phantasm is a comedy sketch OVA based on the Take-MOON manga written by Eri Takenashi to celebrate TYPE-MOON’s 10th anniversary.

It combines two intensely popular franchises, Fate and Tsukihime, taking place in the “Nasuverse” (named aptly by fans after the author, Kinoko Nasu) as the characters from TYPE-MOON’s original works go through various light-hearted scenarios, which parody their respective series.

Just remember two things before sitting down to watch Carnival Phantasm or FGC; your knowledge of TYPE-MOON lore is directly proportional to the amount of enjoyment you will get and leave your sanity at the door.

About Fate/Grand Order (Fate Series)

Fate/stay night is a Japanese visual novel developed by Type-Moon, released initially as an adult game for Windows.

Unlike most anime, Fate series isn’t based on a manga. Fate/Grand Order is a relatively new anime in Fate series, released in 2019.

Chaldea Security Organization, a secret organization working against Mage King Solomon, drew on experts of both the magical and mundane fields to observe the future of humankind for possible extinction events.

The story follows Ritsuka Fujimaru, a young man newly recruited to the organization, who is ordered to travel back to 2004 to find a way to save humanity.
