Tokyo Revengers, the anime, is set for release in April 2021. Ken Wakui’s famous manga is about a person who is given a second chance at life.
No, it is not another isekai series. Rather, the protagonist time travels to his past and decides to set things right.
Romance, friendship, rivalry, and action, this anime will have them all along with a sprinkling of science fiction. Will the protagonist be able to fix everything? Or will he pay a heavy price for messing with time?
The first promotional video for the Tokyo Revengers anime is now streaming! The video not only reveals the April 2021 debut date but also the main staff, and cast.
The PV shows the adult Takemichi Hanagaki taking a leap back in time to his school life. He knows that the only way he can prevent the tragedy from taking place is by becoming the leader of the most powerful gang in the area.
Takemichi has a hard road ahead of him and will be beaten back many times before he succeeds. Yet, he stands back up and continues on his path.

About Tokyo Revengers
Tokyo Revengers is a manga written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. It began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine from March 1, 2017. It is an ongoing manga that received its 17th compiled book volume on May 15.
The story revolves around Takemichi Hanagaki, who learned that Tokyo Manji Gang had killed his only ex-girlfriend from back in middle school. After learning about the incident, Takemichi was pushed from the railway platform.
Landing on the tracks, he closed his eyes, accepting his death, but when he opened his eyes, he had time-leaped 12 into the past.
Finding that he had traveled back to a time when he was dating Hinata Tachibana, he decides to infiltrate the Tokyo Manji Gang and climb the ranks to rewrite the future and prevent Hinata’s death.
