Based on 2014’s trading card game named “WIXOSS”, the upcoming TV anime titled “WIXOSS Diva(A)Live” features the stories of three girls known as selectors. The girls compete in a fictional WIXOSS Land for fame and glory.

The WIXOSS (short for Wish Across) franchise was a collaborative effort between Takara Tomy, J.C.Staff, and Warner Entertainment Japan to promote the card game.
After it became popular, numerous manga, novels and anime series were made to popularize WIXOSS further and WIXOSS Dive(A)Live is the fifth installment to its anime series.
The official website of the WIXOSS Diva(A)Live TV anime released a PV for the anime set to premiere on January 8th, 2021.
Under Masato Matsune’s direction, the anime will be televised on major broadcasting stations in Japan like TOKYO MX and BS 11. And we are super excited for its release!
The PV features the three protagonists Ray, Hirana and Akino. It also showcased the premise and focuses on some never before seen moments from the upcoming series.

The website tells the story of “WIXOSS Diva(A)Live” where the WIXOSS card game has popularized throughout the world and in a virtual space called “WIXOSS Land” popular selectors in groups of three compete to win over their fans and make a name of their own.
Ray, Hirana and Akino have the same dream as every selector, which is to become known worldwide.
In order to achieve the dream, they group together and compete with other groups in epic battles featuring music and even dance and try to reach the top.

About WIXOSS
WIXOSS is a Japanese mixed-media franchise created as a partnership between Takara Tomy, J.C.Staff, and Warner Entertainment Japan.
The franchise focuses on a trading card game named WIXOSS and follows girls referred to as Selectors who must fight each other to make their wishes come true.
In 2014, Takara Tomy launched a trading card game in Japan. In the same year, J.C.Staff produced an anime television series, titled selector infected WIXOSS, and a second season, “Selector Spread WIXOSS,” that aired in Japan.
“Selector Destructed WIXOSS” is a compilation film released in 2016, followed by a sequel anime television series, titled “Lostorage Incited WIXOSS,” which aired in the same year.
A new anime tv series by the name of “Lostorage Conflated WIXOSS” aired in 2018. The franchise is home to numerous manga spin-offs, a novel adaptation, and even a smartphone app.
Additionally, an anime television series, titled WIXOSS Diva(A)Live, is slated to release in January 2021.
