Tokyo Babylon 2021 Revealed Visual, 2nd PV Via YT Livestream
90’s shoujo manga series “Tokyo Babylon” follows twins Subaru Sumeragi and Hokuto Sumeragi as they work together to protect Tokyo from supernatural forces.
Created by Clamp, the manga was serialized from 1990 to 1993, and was later adapted into a two-part OVA series by Studio Madhouse between 1992 and 1994, as well as a live-action film in 1993.
A live event on Youtube unveiled a visual and promotional video of the upcoming anime adaptation and revival of CLAMP’s Tokyo Babylon. The anime will premiere in April 2021.
The key visual features the three main characters, Seishirou Sakurazuka, Hokuto Sumeragi and Subaru Sumeragi, surrounded by cherry blossoms.
The characters have clearly been given an upgrade from the earlier manga avatar but fans don’t seem to dig Seishirou’s new character design.
In the second promotional video, the city overlooks the Tokyo skyline which looks completely different from the version shown in the manga.
A sequence is shown where Subaru is using swords and it looked super cool. The second PV looks all the more promising for the much anticipated anime.
The event revealed that cast member Shouta Aoi will be performing the opening theme, and Nana Mizuki will be performing the ending theme.

Set in Tokyo, Subaru Sumeragi and his twin sister, Hokuto along with the veterinarian Seishiro Sakurazuka solve various spiritual cases as an onmyouji. The series focuses on many social themes such as faith, organ donation.
Shinshokan has published a total of 7 volumes of books and a total of 5 volumes of the paperback edition, and a total of 3 volumes of the favorite edition are published by KADOKAWA.

Tokyo Babylon is a manga created by Clamp, Nanase Okawa, and Mokona. It was adapted into an OVA, a live-action film, and will be getting an anime series in 2021.
