Craftopia Coming Back With Second Season And Holiday Specials

Craftopia, HBO Max’s craft-based competition series, is coming back for a second season in 2021. The family-friendly show has become really popular since it first premiered earlier this year. The first season of the show saw a group of kids battling it out to create some epic craft items before the time ran out. But things are changing in the second season. Instead of kids, the new season will feature adults as the ‘Craftesants’ of the series.

Apart from the eight-episode second season, Craftopia will also return to HBO Max in 2020 to air Craftopia: The Holiday Showdown. It is a series of four episodes based on the holiday season in America. Two of the four episodes will drop on October 22nd and follow the theme of Halloween, while the other two, airing on November 16th, will be based on winter spectaculars.

The holiday episodes will have some of the best kid crafters of the country as the participants. It is a brilliant way to welcome the festive season and will provide some awesome ideas for DIY craft decorations.

Lauren Riihimaki, popularly known by her Youtube name LaurDIY, is returning as the series host for both the holiday specials and the second season. There will also be a bevvy of special guests and experts in the new season, which will raise the stakes and challenges for the Craftestants.
