Ready To Love, Put A Ring On It: New Series Coming To OWN
Two new unscripted seasons of dating shows are coming up on OWN this fall. Ready To Love is returning for its third season in October and a brand-new show called Put A Ring On It will be debuting right after it. It looks like the shows are tailor-made for reality TV lovers and Friday nights will be filled with fun and drama for the OWN viewers.
Season three of Ready To Love will be slightly different from the first two. Usually, the show follows a group of eligible Black men and women looking for a partner to share a long-term relationship with. They go on dates to find the person they are most suited to.
But in the new season, Ready To Love is going the Love Island way- the participants will be quarantining together in a mountain resort, distanced from the outside world.
Thomas Miles will be returning as the host of the popular dating show, which has been created by the reality TV genius Will Packer.
Put A Ring On It will also be helmed by Will Packer. This show will look at couples who have been together for a long time but are yet to get hitched. Relationship expert Dr Nicole LaBeach will help four couples find out if they are truly meant for each other, by dating other people.
The series will run for nine weeks, at the end of which all the couples must decide whether they want to stay together and get married or part ways.
The third season of Ready To Love will premiere on OWN on October 23rd, 2020, at 9 pm ET/PT followed by Put A Ring On It at 10 pm ET/PT.
