About I’m Standing on a Million Lives

The anime is based on the manga I’m Standing on a Million Lives (or 100-Man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru) written by Naoki Yamakawa and illustrated by Akinari Nao.

The story revolves around Yotsuya Yusuke, who just wants to get away from people and make it home to his video games. He is practical, friendless, and not active in any clubs.

One day, he and his two female classmates, Shindou Iu and Hakozaki Kusue, are suddenly sent to another world. There they meet somebody called the Game Master, who then grants them a time-limited quest.

But to aid them in this quest, he randomly bestows Yotsuya with the role of a farmer. Before long, the unlikely trio find that they’re not just battling for their own lives, but the lives of millions in their town!
