Somehow, the guitar that Ritsuka used to love to play and the basketball games that he found so fun just lost their appeal.
That was until Ritsuka Uenoyama randomly met Mafuyu Sato. Ritsuka had started losing his passion for music, but then he hears Mafuyu sing for the first time and it captivates him.
The song resonates with his heart, and the distance between them begins to change.
The plot of the film kicks off from the ending of the anime’s episode 11.
The PV shows the band, “Given” playing their song “Dawn” on stage. We see them performing to their heart’s content, and the scenes take us through the wonderful journey they had so far.
We saw both happiness and disappointment, love and distress, expectation and acceptance, and reaching out for something forbidden.
The feelings were beautifully expressed through the passion they have music.
We are in a state of awe, and we are adoring this movie for making us feel so much through character expressions.
The TV anime given was aired for 11 episodes from July to September 2019 on Fuji TV’s midnight programming block Noitamina.
The anime is the “first anime based on a boys-love manga” to air on Noitamina.
Unfortunately, the manga’s stage play adaptation, which was set for this summer, was already canceled.
Fuji TV’s new Blue Lynx boys-love anime label is producing the film.
The television anime’s cast members are reprising their roles for the film. Hikaru Yamaguchi is returning to direct the film at Lerche. Yuniko Ayana will write the scripts, and Mina Ōsawa will design the characters.
