ORESUKI Final Volume 6 to Release on October 2 After It’s Ending on 23rd August

Weekly Shonen Jump announced on August 22 through their official Twitter account that ORESUKI’s final volume i.e., volume 6, will be out on October 2 after the series came to an end on 23rd August.

Fans are quite overwhelmed after the season came to an end today.

Oresuki revolves around Amatsuyu “Joro” Kisaragi, an ordinary high school student who is invited out alone by two beautiful girls: the upperclassman Sakura “Cosmos” Akino and his childhood friend Aoi “Himawari” Hinata.

Expecting to hear their confessions, he triumphantly goes to meet each of them in turn.

However, both Cosmos and Himawari confess to Joro that they like his best friend, Taiyо̄ “Sun-chan” Ōga, instead of him.

He reluctantly agrees to help both girls pursue Sun-chan with the hope of dating the loser, only to suddenly be confessed to by the unremarkable bookworm Sumireko “Pansy” Sanshokuin, who is the girl Sun-chan is in love with.

And that’s how the story goes around!

The funny and romantic aspects of high school life and the dilemmas in the lives of students are what goes on in this series.

And after the official statement, we can’t wait to see more of it!

This Japanese light novel series is written by Rakuda and illustrated by Buriki.

ASCII Media Works has published fourteen volumes since February 10, 2016, under their Dengeki Bunko imprint.

A manga adaptation with illustration by Yū Ijima has been serialized via Shueisha’s online manga app Shōnen Jump+ since February 26, 2017.

It has been collected in five tankōbon volumes. An anime television series adaptation by Connect aired from October 3 to December 26, 2019. An OVA is set to be released on September 2, 2020.

Oresuki is short for Are You Really The Only One Who Likes Me?. It is a light novel series by Rakuda and Buriki, which was later adapted into an anime by studio Connect.

Kisaragi, a high schooler, is called out by two of his friends. He followed them hoping they would propose to him, but instead, they wanted him to set them up with his friend, Oga.

However, Kisaragi is proposed to by a girl with the nickname “Pansy,” who is, in turn, liked by Oga.
