Discotek Licenses New Titles for Blu-ray Release on October 27

A lot of material that debuts in Japan doesn’t leave its borders. They must wait for publishing companies abroad to license these animes, to stream or release their Blu-rays.

So otakus outside Japan are always on the lookout for the release of Blu-ray disks of animes they weren’t able to stream.

Dicotek announced on Thursday via its Facebook page that it had licensed new titles to release in Blu-Ray. The titles include:

  • New Getter Robo original video anime 
  • Isuca anime
  • Lupin III: The Pursuit of Harimao’s Treasure anime special

Discotek would release these discs on October 27, 2020.

The Disc for New Getter Robo original video anime will comprise of all 13 episodes in 1080p with both English and Japanese dub. New Getter Robo will also have English subtitles for those viewing the series in Japanese.

The release of Isuca anime will be uncensored, containing ten episodes and the OVA in Japanese. This release will also have English subtitles for viewers.

Lupin III: The Pursuit of Harimao’s Treasure anime special release by Discotek will be available in English and Japanese at 1080p with English subtitles.

The entertainment company had previously announced that it had licensed the first Senki Zesshō Symphogear anime and the Cleopatra anime film on Blu-ray Disc. 

These two titles will also be released on October 27 with the other above-mentioned titles.

Discotek has announced a large number of anime releases for October and has otakus outside Japan waiting for them to hit the market.
