Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura are the creators of the continuing manga series Blue Lock.
Since August 2018, Kodansha has begun serializing the manga in Weekly Shnen Magazine. It’s being turned into an anime series by Eight Bit, and it’ll debut on Netflix in October 2022.
The story also revolves around Japan’s decision to skip the 2018 FIFA World Cup. To prepare for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the Japanese Football Union has begun working with high school teams.
