Dora and Kusanagi are now working with Ginchiyo, a mid-Izanagi samurai, as we saw in the last episode. Ginchiyo has shown to be one of the series’ most powerful characters thus far. She decided to train them to become excellent samurai. So she took them to the forest, where a forest Mononoke attacked them.

Dora, as promised, accepted to protect Ginchiyo, despite her doubts that he would be able to combat the giant Mononoke, She is proved wrong. Kusanagi and Dora did not disappoint. They defeated the Mononoke as a team, and Ginchiyo appears to be rather impressed with them.
