The first season of the anime is finally over and now we look forward to the Kemono Jihen Season 2 release date announcement and the anime trailer.
Are you a fan of Kabane? More like Kon or Aya? Or like Shiki and Akira? Or like Inugami-san? Either way, the protagonist Kabane leaves no one unimpressed so far. Not just Kabane, even the characters mentioned above alongwith Mihai-san has impressed people as well.
Aired on the 10th of January, Kemono Jihen Season 1 has not gained much fame in the beginning as it should, with IMDb rating 7.5, MyAnimeList rating 7.4 and 74% score as per AniList, but it surely falls into the category of those underrated anime which deserve a great applause.
After the end of the first season, many fans have started wondering if there will be a season 2 of Kemono Jihen anime.
Kemono Jihen anime is a manga adaptation of the same name and today we will be discussing if Kemono Jihen is done or if there’s a chance of the anime returning with a second season.
We have also shared articles on Dragon Ball Super Season 2 and Solo Leveling anime on our website, so make sure to check them out!
Kemono Jihen Season 2 Release Date
Though there hasn’t been any official announcement about the release date of Kemono Jihen Season 2, we can expect it to return around July 2022.
Since it is an unofficial announcement, let’s not keep our hopes high. Though, the series already has more than 250,000 fans which means it is quite popular. So, there is a high possibility of Kemono Jihen Season 2 happening, just like Spy X Family Anime.
For Kemono Jihen second season, the expected producers are Frontier Works, Lantis, Shueisha, Yomiuri TV Enterprise, Bandai Namco Arts, JTB Next Creation, licensor is Funimation and Studio is Aija-do.
Kemono Jihen Season 2 Announcement: All You Need To Know!
Spoiler Alert!
As we know, Kemono Jihen is a manga adaptation, in the first season 21 chapters have been covered, whereas there are 55 chapters in the manga at present. The manga is still ongoing, so we do know for sure that there are enough materials for Kemono Jihen anime Season 2.
Plus, in both Shiki and Akira’s arc we saw them reuniting with their family members whereas Kabane hasn’t reunited or known the love of a family yet.
He doesn’t even have a concrete definition of what love is. Kemono Jihen Season 2 will probably lead to the reunion of Kabane with his family following numerous adevntures and him discovering the feelings buried inside.
Another unresolved question in the last episode of the pilot season of Kemono Jihen was that whether Inari will be able to retrieve the nullstone and the lifestone. Moreover, we have been informed of many such stones scattered all over Japan as per Inugami, which is another mystery left to be solved.
The last episode also ends with the scene where Inugami and Kabane set for their journey to Shikoku, while Kon has been appointed with the task to retrieve the lifestone from Kabane ‘without using brute force’.
Kon requests to accompany them to Shikoku which sets the fact that there are quite a number of questions yet to be answered.
We also get to know about what ‘Kemono Jihen’ really means, i.e., a terrific war between kemonos and humans.
We may have one of the new characters as Iyo Yashima, a childish princess, in Shikoku arc where apparently Kon and Iyo fight for Kabane’s attention in Kemono Jihen S2.
Kemono Jihen Season 1 has scores that are good enough for a sequel, which has been mentioned earlier. We can expect Aija-do to continue with Kemono Jihen Season 2 animation.
