‘Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King’ Movie to Debut in March 2023
Ever since the Black Clover anime got canceled, the franchise’s upcoming movie has served as a ray of hope for fans. It is possibly the last adaptation of the manga, and I have high hopes for it.
While the movie was announced quite some time ago, information on it has barely been revealed, making us desperate for some inkling of its release date. Finally, hope shines brighter as the possible debut date of the movie has been leaked.
Some trusted sources on social media websites have claimed that the Black Clover movie will premiere on March 31, 2023. The film is titled ‘Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King’, and it will be streamed by Netflix worldwide.
Netflix will stream the film on the same day as its theatrical release, so overseas fans don’t have to wait for months before it is available to them.
The upcoming movie will adapt the rest of the Spade Kingdom Raid arc. After six months of training, Asta and his team are finally ready to face the Dark Triad. The captured captains as well as Lolopechka’s lives are on the line.
The Spade Kingdom Raid arc is 71 chapters long, so the movie will be able to portray it beautifully. The problem is that the final arc of the manga comes after that, and it is still ongoing. Is it possible that Tabata-sensei will complete the manga before the film’s release?
A two-part film will also serve the purpose of gracefully adapting the whole manga without skipping parts of the plot.
Let’s hope that Black Clover fans are served the film that they deserve without any more abrupt delays or cancelations.
