We had a great chapter last week, and the anticipation for Jujutsu Kaisen 214 is just as high, especially since there have been rumors that Gojo will return in this chapter. However, nothing has been confirmed as of yet because the manga is on hiatus this week.
Sukuna has come to terms with the power and limitations of Megumi’s cursed technique, as we saw in the previous chapter. Megumi is just as much of a prison as Yuji is an imperfect vessel. Sukuna, however, is a genius who plays this situation with great dexterity and patience, waiting for Megumi’s heart to give out before striking.
Yuji’s face showed that he was very scared, and he yelled for Megumi, but it was too late because Sukuna was already on him. Yuji got punched, and the punch was so strong that it sent him flying and broke a few buildings on the way. Yuji’s finger was still hurting, as we could see. Takaba and Maki heard the noise and went to see what was going on. Sukuna called them bugs because they always come when something happens.
In response, Sukuna called forth Nue, a creature who appears to be much larger and more robust than Megumi’s summon. Their relative strengths account for this distinction. Then Hana arrived and yelled for Angel to turn on the purification light, but Angel stopped her, explaining that they couldn’t because Megumi was “The Fallen.” Angel then instructed Hana to employ the cursed method. After this, Megumi will be able to eliminate Sukuna without having to worry about him being around.
Next, she employed her cursed technique, and it appeared that Sukuna was separated from Megumi. When Hana yelled that Megumi was hers, someone said, I Remember.” At that point, Megumi declared that she was no longer bothered by Sukuna’s marking on her flesh. And then Hana went over to hug Megumi, but Angel stopped her. Sukuna opened his mouth to swallow Hana right as she went to embrace Megumi.
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 214: Launch Date
The next chapter of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga will be published in the next issue of Weekly Shonen Jump on Sunday, February 26, 2022. This break has been planned in advance. Next Thursday, February 22nd, 2022, the raw scans and spoilers will be made public.
