In anime, the family unit takes several forms. Families play a significant role in the histories and identities of anime characters, regardless of how huge or little they are, or whether they are nuclear, extended, related, or adoptive. The influence of one’s family on one’s personality cannot be overstated. We’d like to become a part of a few different anime clans.
Castle Town Dandelion
The Sakuradas are a typical Japanese suburban family who are the focus of Castle Town Dandelion. However, as king of the land, their father spends his time at the castle. The siblings Sakurada benefited well from their unconventional upbringing.
The next monarch will be elected by the general populace. Mr. Sakurada’s preference for rule by election over the more common primogeniture in prominent families is a sign of his justice to his offspring. There is not the slightest bit of animosity between the nine siblings, even though they are all vying for the position of ruler.
Spy x Family
The father is a master spy, the mother a deadly killer, and the family dog a prophet. The protagonist of Spy x Family, a young telepath named Anya Forger, agrees with her. Amazingly, the Forgers care for one other even when they don’t believe their relationships are “real”.
Loid and Yor may have married for convenience, but they put in the effort to establish a strong family unit for their daughter, Anya. Even with all the hidden information, they appear to be a very content bunch.
Summer Wars
In the film Summer Wars, the matriarch of the extended Jinnouchi family is Sakae. Kenji Koiso is introduced to the family when a classmate brings him there posing as her fiance.
Saying “Never turn your back on family, especially when times are tough” sums up the film perfectly, as spoken by Sakae. Despite their differences, the group ultimately works together for the greater good.
Cardcaptor Sakura
Sakura strives to keep up the appearance that she is just a regular teenage girl by not talking about her exploits as a magical girl and only collecting cards for them. However, her loved ones are much more aware of her activities than she thinks. Nadeshiko, Sakura’s mother, passed away when she was very young, yet her presence can still be felt in the house.
Touya clearly enjoys playing pranks on her, but he also makes it plain that he can be relied upon to help her out of jams. Despite his busy schedule, her dad always makes time for his kids and his late wife.
Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid
An androgynous working woman is the focus of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, a popular anime series. By mistake, she hires a dragon to serve as her maid. Tohru’s presence in her home attracts the interest of other dragons, and she eventually takes in a young Kanna.
The Kobayashis are obviously a loving family. They’re really considerate to one another. They support one another through the remarkable. Being a part of this odd but loving family must be a lot of fun, what with all their human and draconic friends dropping by on a regular basis.
