The most mysterious characters in One Piece are ranked below, along with all the information you need to know about them.
Sengoku
In the One Piece universe, Sengoku was a Marine Fleet Admiral in the past. He is renowned for his formidable physical power and keen mind. His history, particularly the origin of his devil fruit abilities, is shrouded in mystery, despite the fact that he is widely regarded as one of the most influential individuals in the One Piece universe.
Aokiji
Marshal D. Teach, who is in possession of the Hie Hie no Mi demon fruit, has Aokiji, a former marine admiral, working for him. After the Marine-Ford War, Aokiji stepped down as admiral after a disagreement with Akainu.
No one knows why he would have joined Blackbeard after he had retired. Others have speculated that he is either a marine spy or has plans to turn on the marines.
Ussop
Ussop is one of the most fascinating and original characters in One Piece. Although he lacks the devil fruit powers and superhuman strength of his fellow Straw Hats, his quick wit and resourcefulness have saved the day on more than one occasion.
Ussop’s ingenuity and resourcefulness have earned him a reputation as a formidable adversary. Oda has elevated him to God Ussop level despite his hilarious and cowardly manner. If this is just for laughs or if Oda has something else up his sleeve, time will tell.
Sir Crocodile
Lord of the seas in official terms, Crocodile or Sir Crocodile is in possession of the devilish Suna Suna no Mi fruit. Crocodile, one of the main characters in Alabasta Arc, was a very savage and astute pirate. Crocodile, while being a villain, is a multifaceted character with hidden depths.
The reason he initially attacked Whitebeard is still a mystery to many. What made him reconsider his decision to help Luffy and Ace is also unclear.
Rocks D. Xebec
Rocks D. Xebec captained the infamous pirate crew known as the Rocks, who spread fear across the globe. Big Mom, Kaido, and Edward Newgate were all Rocks Pirates. Legend has it that Garp and Roger fought these buccaneers in order to protect aristocrats.
Despite his prominence, Xebec’s identity has remained shrouded in obscurity. Some have hypothesized that he is somehow involved with Blackbeard’s magic. His skills are similarly poorly understood. It is also unclear why he opposed World Government and what became of him afterwards.
Joy Boy
A long-dead One Piece character named Joy Boy once inhabited the Void Century. He had promised to return to Fishman Island, but circumstances prevented him from doing so. The Straw Hat Pirates eventually decoded this apology.
